ST 18. Bagan -Popa- Bagan (Day Return)
Day 1.
After the breakfast at hotel, lead to Mt Popa, 2 hrs drives, visit the palm sugar industry (Jaggery) at midpoint, the local man climbs on the palm tree to collect the palm juice for making caramel. The oil press is also in sights. Arrive Mt.Popa and climb up to the top led by 777 steps, the peak was extinct volcano where the lavas were erupted, the last active was about 1 and half million years ago, made fertile the medicinal plantations and Oasis of the arid zone. Have lunch at local bisto, then return to Bagan. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
